Christmas is just around the corner and there’s nothing better than starting off your holiday by eating some delicious cookies. Many people love baking cookies, others prefer buying them, it all depends on the person’s preference.
So, as the sweet angel, I am, went ahead trying many different cookies so you won’t have to! All for the love of this article.
I tried the Pillsbury Christmas tree cookies. 24 premade sugar cookies come in the pack, all you have to do is pop those bad boys in the oven and then wait for about 10-15 minutes and make sure they don’t get burnt, because if they’re burnt it’s gonna taste HORRIBLE and there’s no going back (Not that I know how they taste when burned). The texture of the cookies are soft and it’s sweet, they are sugar cookies after all. I would definitely recommend these cookies to snack on when you’re on the go or just chilling watching Netflix or whatever you kids do these days. I rate these cookies an 8 out of 10 only because if you don’t heat them up right they can be a little soggy.
I also baked my own homemade cookies using flour, butter, powdered sugar, one egg, and vanilla extract, and to top it all off I decorated them with frosting and used a cookie cutter. First, you mix all your dry ingredients together and after you melt the butter and pour it in the batter and mix it. After all, the mixing and mess preheat your oven and then you pop those bad boys in the oven and wait for them to bake. After you can decorate them however you like and then CRUSH those bomb cookies. I rate my cookies a solid 9.5 out of 10 only because they were a little hard.
Honestly if you want to make a quick easy batch of cookies I recommend baking the Pillsbury Christmas cookies for sure!
On the other hand if you want to and have the time to make cookies from scratch, making homemade cookies is so fun! Decorating them is the best part and I would definitely recommend you making homemade cookies if you want to do something with your family. Just note and remember that washing the dirty dishes and cleaning up the mess isn’t so fun for everyone you guys at least got some delicious cookies out of it tho !
I hope everyone enjoys the holidays and if your making a Christmas basket throwing some cookies in there won’t hurt and a few gaining a few more pounds wouldn’t either, MERRY CHRISTMAS !
